Hello guys, I have a problem over here. Today I was playing the Beta of Battlefield 1 in my PC, and I was about to change the graphics quality, i had them on High and I wanted to change it to Medium and put the VSync ON.
When I did this, the FPS went from 90-100 to 15, and after 1 minute, it started to be around 40, I changed again the VSync option and put it all again how it was and the FPS are the same low, 15-40, with or without the VSync, I tried every Setting, every quality and nothing. I reverted my OC in my GPU and nothing changed. I restarted my computer, repaired the game and everything is fucked up. Other games like CS:GO, Black Ops 3 or League of legends are running the same as always, just BF1 fucked up. I want to know what can I do to resolve this, any idea?

My PC:
FX-8350 4.0Ghz
8GB 1600 Mhz 2x4
R9 380 2GB MSI Armor Edition
Water cooling from Enermax
750W Power Supply

Solution
Yes, i know exactly why, as for i had the same problem.
I run a 6700k alongside with a gtx 1080 so you would expect that i would be on ultra with no problems at all. But thats not the case, I only have 8 gigs of ram as for you do and in some cases I drop down from 200 frames down to 20. I checked my software i use to monitor my pc and it was spiking up to over 8 gigs of dram as for I have run out of dram to use dropping the fps significantly. I got a new kit of 2x4 ram and run 16 gigs and I have no fps drops what so ever.

I recommend buying the extra 8 gigs because when the full game is released, they useally tend to be more intensive than that beta so you might have a constant usage of of 8+ gigs of vram.

try buying another kit and...

Hope I helped!
