Hi, I was hoping to run some of the latest games on my pc. I'm upgrading my gpu from a geforce gt 720

Processor: AMD FX(tm)-6300 Six-Core Processor
Video Card: GeForce GTX 780
RAM: 8.0 GB

Would this run arma 3, arkham knight, or witcher 3?

Oh, you need a new PSU. That is an awful psu https://linustechtips.com/main/topic/515473-teardown-and-review-of-the-turbolink-atx-xg500w-crappy-psu/

It only claims to have 34A across both 12v rails and chances are it would blow up if you tried to take that.

Depends what's on offer where you are. Any 600w tier 1 or 2 on this list will do http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/id-2547993/psu-tier-list.html

The 780 is power hungry by modern standards and for a gaming pc you should never cheap out on the PSU, its the most important component as it feeds everything and spends long periods of time under high load. Also if a psu does fail it can damage other components so quality of the unit is very important, wattage ratings on their own are meaningless.
