Hey guys I'm looking to build my first rig and did some research on different components and think I have everything I need that fits my budget, here's the list:

Case: Rosewill Dual Fans MicroATX Mini Tower

CPU: AMD FD6300WMHKBOX FX-6300 6-Core Processor Black Edition

GPU: Gigabyte AMD R7 360 128 Bit GDDR5 2GB 2xDVI/HDMI/DP Overclocked Graphics Card

PSU: EVGA 500 W1, 80+ WHITE 500W, 3 Year Warranty, Power Supply 100-W1-0500-KR

Ram: Kingston HyperX FURY 8GB Kit (2x4GB) 1600MHz DDR3 CL10 DIMM - Black

Motherboard: Gigabyte AM3+ AMD DDR3 1333 760G HDMI USB 3.0 Micro ATX Motherboard GA-78LMT-USB3

Hard drive: Seagate 1TB Desktop HDD SATA 6Gb/s 64MB Cache 3.5-Inch Internal Bare Drive

My budget is sadly only $400 but it's okay because as of now I really only play csgo, r6 siege, payday 2, and some other steam games but nothing really like battlefield or gta v that requires a super high end video card or processor. The final price for this rig comes out to about $396 (everything bought on Amazon) however I plan on upgrading some parts as time goes by.

Also, I have looked on eBay at some prebuilt rigs that are around $400 and come with a warranty but I have been told by friends that I should stay away from those.

Let me know what you guys think and if I should change anything :)

Thanks for all the help :sol:

If it suits you well enough then I suppose it works. There really isn't much room for *new parts* customization in there lol...

As for gradually upgrading it later, you'd be better off building a whole new system later. These parts will be old enough in 6 years that you'd need a new motherboard to change the RAM and CPU unless you wanted to stay in AM3+ ville... and a new GPU with the current board would be a little bit of a bottleneck.

I wouldn't go with that power supply personally. I'd make the jump to an EVGA G2 550W or something, simply because of quality. I learned the hard way trusting the stock thermaltake toughpower that came with an Alienware I bought a few years ago, it blew a fuse - and it's own chipset. Not all power...

Not all power supplies are the same, and you're best off getting the LATEST power supplies from EVGA, SeaSonic, or Corsair.
