Sharp AL-1655cs 64 bit driver?!!

You can download the driver files from these links. You need files from BOTH links to be able to re-create the original folder structure that was originally downloaded form the Sharp USA website:

Let me say that I am answering my own question because I don't want the next person to go through what I just had to go through to get the 64 bit driver for this rather decent Laser Jet printer. Sharp USA made this driver available on their website for a very brief period of time during which I was fortunate to download it. Even more fortunate was that I was able to find it on an old hard drive after they removed it from their website. To all of you with this printer, you are welcome.
