What motherboard should I buy?

Hello, I am new to PC building and I am planning on building a PC with the Intel 6600k chip and the gigabyte gtx 1070 g1 graphics card. Should I buy a z170 motherboard and if so which one should I get? Also, do I really need an anti static bracelet?

A Z170 motherboard is the way to go. There's not much to distinguish similarly-priced motherboards, so choosing one really comes down to personal experience, brand loyalty and aesthetics.

An anti-static wristband is useful, but not necessary. You can achieve the same outcome by touching a metallic part of the case now and again.
