What core clock speed is recommended for GPU

And the merchant is UMart online. Click that link. It takes you to this:

Either a stupid mistake or outright deceptive advertising. Vantec is trash and it sounds an awful lot...

The vendor is probably trying to clear out old stock for whatever reason. That's a very good price.

Different architectures and manufacturing processes. You can't even compare them like that. Well you can but it's meaningless.

The 980 Ti is closer to a GTX 1070 in performance. The GTX 1060 is more comparable to the GTX 980.

I've had a 980 Ti for about a year. Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is the first game I couldn't use maximum settings at 1440p. The 980 Ti will use a bit more power but it's faster than a 1060 and is massive overkill for almost anything at 1080p. Mankind Divided needs a GTX 1080 to max it at 1080p so it would be the exception.

how about all AAA games in the next 5 years with 1080p all max - high settings. including overwatch right. would the 980ti be able to sustain it for that long.

Impossible to say. But I've never been happy with any card longer than 3 years and that was an exception. I usually get around 2 years out of one. I'd get the 980 Ti. That's a great price even here in the US and I know you guys pay way more for parts than we do. I'd think it will give you at least a few years at 1080p. But then again games like Mankind Divided need a GTX 1080 to max 1080p. So don't have unrealistic expectations. ;)

when you say 3 years, is that based on 1080p max settings, can i last the card to lowest res lowest settings for 10years?

Are you talking about the price of $376 for the 980 ti link you posted? Because if you follow the link for that price, you'll see that the vendor appears to be sold out.
I've seen that happen a few times on PCPartPicker. If you see a price for a product that seems way lower than all the others, you should probably follow that link to the store to make sure they actually have it available at that price.

10 years? No. I'd certainly never buy something like a graphics card and expect 10 years out of it. That's like still using the original Playstation and expecting it to support the latest titles. Three years is the longest I've ever had one card and that was a GTX 460 1GB. I kept it until I replaced it with a GTX 780.

Nobody can see that far into the future, but 10 years is pushing it. The fastest card 10 years ago was the Nvidia GeForce 7950 GX2. A GTX 1080 is around 30 times faster. A lowly 750TI, considered to be the bare minimum for playability in most recent titles is 6 times faster. If GPU speeds continue to increase at the same rate they have for the last 10 years, you can expect any card today to be pretty useless a decade from now.

The 1070. It's about 10% faster than a 980 Ti.

http://arstechnica.com/gadgets/2016/06/nvidia-gtx-1070-review/

It's the card to buy for 1080p max settings for the next few years.
