MB drivers installation guide?

I got a new MB which is an Asus H61M-C, it comes with 2 CDs which I think is the MB's drivers. I installed an OS first and then the MB's drivers, I installed them yesterday. As of now, the computer is experiencing something like an FPS drop. Any help please?

Best thing to do is go Asus and download the latest drivers normally the ones on the are old and really only used to maybe get the basics working so you can get online and update with newer drivers.

I have read that also and I am trying to download the latest versions there. Also, the monitor is connected to a graphics card and I just installed the CD driver.

So, if I am going to download the driver in the manufacturer's site, what should I download? There are like a couple of things listed there, e.g. BIOS, Chipset, Audio, VGA, LAN, etc.

you really should download them all and updated them them all, if your using an external Video card (i.e not the one on the MB) you can skip the VGA drivers, also you don't have to install the BIOS though it maybe good to download just in case you do run into any strange issues it could be a BIOS issue so having the files handy to update won't hurt.
