I've been using a Logitech m185 (I think that's it) for a year or two now and I've only had this problem once before, except it went away on it's own last time.. Now, it isn't. I don't know why it started, I was on my pc and it just started, no warning or anything. Any ideas? I've moved the USB to every possible USB port and I've cleaned the mouse and the mouse pad multiple times. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Well, if it is indeed the m185, then it's wireless, which might just be the issue itself. I've used a wireless mouse before and was annoyed with the reaction time and stuttering, so I bought a wired one, and it works much better.
Yeah all my friends say that but I've never had the budget for anything over 20. I do know what I will buy if this is the case. The thing is it has worked fine before (used to be delayed when my internet was slower but that has been resolved). I don't use the wireless keyboard that came with it because it was so delayed it would be hard to do anything on it. The new keyboard (wired) works great. Any other solutions? If not then I'll go ahead and buy a cheap wired mouse off of Amazon.

Well, you could try a new mousepad, there might be something that just won't come off unless you get a new one. If it is something on the mouse that won't come off, you'll need a new mouse anyways. So, you could try a different mousepad, or maybe no mousepad, just the desk surface. If that still doesn't fix it, time for a new mouse.
I know it isn't the mousepad because it also stutters on the desk surface. I recently swapped with a different wireless mouse (Logitech m317) and it's working fine. I also us old mouse, the m185, on a laptop and it worked fine too. Is it just my computer?
EDIT: Two minutes later, the M317 is also stuttering now. Does that help with a "diagnosis"?
EDIT #2: Now sometimes the M317 doesn't stutter, but it will randomly start and stop. Any ideas before I go off and buy a new mouse?
