Would there be a tremendous differnece while gaming?Currently my 4Ghz bottlenecks my r9 270x heavily in some games?Would it help to push the oc further and if so,how much?

It would help, but no so much. Performance gains from overclocking also suffers from law of diminishing marginal returns. You can't expect a 12.5% performance increase by overclocking it from 4ghz to 4.5ghz. There will be of course performance increase, but no so much that it's worth it.
Nothing is going to make that chip any faster. It's only dual core without hyperthreading, and quite an old model at that.

Probably doesn't help that the games you want might need more threads or are poorly programmed (especially junk like rust/ark)
