Hello everyone I am new to overclocking and I just want a stable overclock that is decent :) I tried to get my 6600k to 4.6Ghz but crashed at 1.3V so I put it down to 4.5 @ 1.3V. My pc also crashed @1.275V on 4.5 so I figured this was a good middleground.

My question is, is 1.3V and 4.5Ghz a dangerously high voltage? or is there any easy to see problems and suggestions?

Thanks everyone!

Solution
i'd stay at below 1.3v - but there are people that go up to 1.4.
IMHO, even if you end up with 4.4GHz you will not notice the performance difference with 4.5

Yeah thought it was then it crashed, I may have to up the voltage to maybe about 1.35 - 1.36 is that entering the danger zone?
