when playing battlefield 1 beta my cpu usage gets to 98-100%, the temperature are about 40 degrees which is normal it runs smoothly at about 60 fps, its the only game that makes the cpu max out and I want to know if it can cause any damage (amd fx -4300 quad core processor)

Solution
Thar usage is alright, the FX 4300 is a very poor processor and not really suitable for a game like BF1. Cpu usage cannot cause any damage and your processor is running extremely cool.

The 4300 might be what's causing your issue. Yes it is a quad core processor, but the instructions per clock cycle it can take are much lower than that of a core series processor therefore a processor like that cannot keep up with CPU and gpu intensive games. If you are like me and pledge your allegiance to AMD specifically because of price to performance then get a 6300 at the very least but I would suggest AT LEAST an 8350.

Good to hear the new ones work fine.

i3-540 has a panic attack.

how will BF1 beta hold up on my 2500K (OC'd to 4.4)? Downloading it now. Gonna see how my PC handles it to decided if I should get the PC or PS4 version.

I have more friends on PS4, but gonna get the PC if I can play it on high and get 60 fps.

RX 480,

ran it last night, had to lower my OC to 4.2 to keep temps in the 60s, but the 2500k is definitely not bottle necking it. It was a rock solid 85-90 FPS before and after I lowered my OC.

i need to lower my voltage then. I left it at default which goes up to 1.361V.

That might be my issue. I think I have the same cooling system.

Ya, I will look up a guide.... I lowered it to 1.25 and it crashed as soon as I got to the windows screen, upped it to 1.3 and got some errors.

Changed it back to auto with turbo @ 4.2 and no issues. Right now the cpu is not bottlenecking me (even in BF1 it was not, lower overclock had no effect on FPS) so I am just gonna leave it there.
