Had a External Hard Drive Case go bad. The 20 GB HD was set up as Master when in case. I installed it directly into the computer and changed the jumpers for Slave. Now it shows as Unformatted! I have downloaded EaseUS Data Recovery Wizard, testdisk - 7.0 and RECUVA, any of which will presumable fix my problem. Looking for suggestions as to which is best or am I over looking something better? Thanks

Since you look to have an older ATA drive, just attach it to the secondary ATA connection and leave it as Master. Just changing the jumper from slave to master should not have caused any issues with the data, but who knows what happened there.

Thank you for your response. I have attempted many different programs and processes but I am afraid the drive is lost. Possibly could be professionally recovered but it is not worth that. Had a number of 33 records copied onto that drive so I'll get to listen to all of that music again!
