Hi guys i have a viao, i5 with 8 GB RAM
its been working absolutely fine for the last 4 years,
yesturday when i turned the laptop on, nothing appeared on screen, so i read forums and thought i would check the memory.
so i took a 4GB stick out , and the laptop powerd on, so then i used the same stick and tried the other slot, and it again powerd on!
i thought it must be my other stick thats faulty, so i did the same test with the other stick, and that also powerd on, both times in both ram slots,
problem is when i try use both sticks together , laptop powers on but nothing on screen?
if i take any of them out and leave one in, in any slot it will work,
any idea whats causing this?
