I know it's kind of an older setup but was wondering what you all think it's worth. Or if it's worth just setting up a whole new rig. He's offering to let it go for $900 with payments because I don't have that much to drop on it this instant and my old rig is just way to old to use for anything.

Thanks in advance and let me know what you think

I'm not really convinced you could build a much better system for only 900, You could build something that would perform the same I guess. 900 is kind of fair because it's also a prebuilt with some extra fancy things installed in it.

This would be maybe 20% better in games if you built it yourself:

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant

CPU: Intel Core i5-6500 3.2GHz Quad-Core Processor ($198.99 @ SuperBiiz)
Motherboard: *ASRock H110M-HDS Micro ATX LGA1151 Motherboard ($51.99 @ SuperBiiz)
Memory: *GeIL EVO POTENZA 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-2133 Memory ($62.99 @ Newegg)
Storage: Samsung 850 EVO-Series 250GB 2.5" Solid State Drive ($88.48 @ Newegg)...
CPU is good, ram is fine, CPU cooler is fine, Video card is probably gonna show it's age soon, but still good, PSU is kinda meh (first thing to replace), SSD may be a bit small, but it's enough for the OS and a game or two.

For $900 it's not to bad for it.

Everything besides the GPU and PSU should be good for another 3 years.

James if you were to pick something up like that one would you since some of it is older and run it for now then replace the gpu and psu or what would you pay for something like that? Or any other recommendations?

You could build a better system, gaming wise, for less. You lose out on i7 hyperthreading, and the overclocking, but get a much better GPU. PSU and GPU, in that one, as JM mentioned would need replacing. You could sell the 780, to put towards a better GPU.

The only thing leaning me towards it is one its my cousins so I could throw him payments every paycheck which would help out a lot but he doesn't know what it's worth and I've been out of pc gaming for a while now myself so neither of us know what it's actually worth

I told him about the fact it's an older setup and you can build better that's new for around the same price he said if I'd do $600 he's fine with it.

Thanks everyone for the help... I'm gonna pick it up then in a little upgrade the psu and gpu
