No idea what set of Corsair - they have a bunch of 1600 sets. Typically you'll want CL9 or lower (lower CL is faster response). The Tri X have a 7 which is tops in 1600 DRAM

Both are about equal - the VP sticks from Corsair seem to have a little more OC headroom (slightly stronger sticks) but both should run about the same
