Got some old stuff, been thinking if i should upgrade....

GPU: Gtx 460
Cpu: Intel Core duo 2 E7500 (LGA 775)
Ram: 2x DDR2 2 GB sticks
Mobo: ASrock G31M-S

Solution
Unfortunately because you have an LGA 775, DDR2, and SATA II, it wouldn't be worth upgrading any part of your system.

At this point you're going to be better off going with a completely new rig.
Hello... 1) quad core, Q9550 or Q9450 from Ebay. http://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/G31M-S/?cat=CPU for existing system... Also add a SSD...Too give you faster Pagefile.sys use with your 4GB of memory limit.

2) otherwise you will need DDR3 and 3rd/4th generation i3, i5, i7 CPU and MB.

3) DDR4... six generation i3, i5, i7 CPU and MB.

Spending more than $200 on an ancient CPU isn't advised, it is a waste of money for the performance increase.
Adding a 500MB/s SSD to a system that can barely push 200MB/s isn't smart, save your money for a system that can actually take advantage of these parts.

Reality is that a garbage G3258 with the cheapest mobo you can find would blow your rig out of the water and only cost a couple hundred bucks.
