So, some time ago i updated the BIOS from the factory version to a newer one because i wanted change my CPU to a newer CPU that wasnt supported by the default BIOS. The Update had gone smoothly. Fast-forward to today, after trying to open my PC after 3-4 Months of inactivity(it wasnt even connected to wall socket), it wouldn't start up. The motherboard light would turn green, but beep sound and the monitor remain black.
So my question is can an updated bios revert back to factory if it isn't connected to a power source and the CMOS battery dies?, so it basically did a bios reset on its own.

Solution
A component could have failed. To start narrowing it down, I would try to boot with only the CPU and 1 DIMM installed, and the GPU only if you don't have integrated graphics.

Fixed it. Removed the Cmos Batery and reset the RTC and it worked, it boot up. The windows got messed up but thats not a problem, i was planning a clean install anyway.
