So my CX600M recently burned out and I am looking for suggestions for a replacement. I am currently thinking of the EVGA Supernova G2 650 watt unit. However I am checking here first as to either confirm my choice or find a better option. Any unit from 600 watt to 700 watt is the output that I am looking for and I would prefer the price to remain under £100. Any help would be greatly appreciate as I would like to avoid purchasing a sub par unit like the CX600M as I did when I first built the PC.

Specs:
GPU- AMD XFX R7870
MB- ASUS P8 Z77-V LX
CPU- Intel I5 3470 3.2GHZ (ivy bridge)
HD- 1TB Seagate ST1000DM003 SATA3
Standard CPU fan

Solution
The EVGA G2 series is one the the top 4 units i would buy, EVGA, seasonic, XFX, or Corsairs rm line.

To tell you how good EVGA is, whenever i replace one of mine i keep it around and use it to power old car audio equipment. I have a G2 800w unit powering a alpine headunit and 2 focal amps, one for 3way speakers the other two JL audio subs. Its all powered off the 12v Pci-e rail and has now problems when you crank the system up.

I think you mean G2 850W.

No, outervision is not good and overestimates. The PSU tier list is also outdated, and also does not address the needs of a single person.
