Installed my new GPU today and it worked fine, suddenly my pc froze and had to turn it off. When I tried to turn it on again the screen was black. There was power to the screen and computer, but only black screen. anyone knows what is going on? Tried plugging my old GPU in but still black screen.

GPU: GTX 1060
BTW, the restart button on the computer doesnt work (the power on obviously does)

I havent tried a different power cable, I only have one GPU slot if thats what you mean, I have tried moving the cable from GPU to power(to different slots) still no luck. The computer turns on it looks like there is power on everything.

I only have 1 RAM, i've taken it out and in again but that didn't work. You want me to try to start it without RAM?

The new GPU needs about twice as much power. Combine that with your PSU being a Tier 5 unit, makes PSU failure the most likely problem.

No, the PC won't boot up without it's RAM. Try to soflty rub a school-like eraser on the RAM to clean it and insert it on it's slot again. Check to if all the mobos cables are properly attached, push them one by one. If all that don't resolve, i don't quite know what will. sorry

Well, i didn't search for it's review but he claims it's bronze so i guess 600W is plenty to a 1060, but maybe the PSU is veery old it's not even suplying half of it? 1060 only needs 125W at it's maximum load. The PSU should hold up as long he is not overclocking something.

I tried overclocking with the software I got with the GPU, it may have been the problem. However I barely touched it. If it helps - the reset button on the computer doesnt work, does this mean something maybe?

And the computer (all of the parts) is basically a bit over 2 years old I think (except for the GPU and monitor)
