I've got a MSI GTX 760 4gb, it has got 2 8pin connectors, i've got a 6+2 and 6 pin connector cable.
Can i plug in the 6pin into the second 8 pin connector or just leave the 6+2 pin in the first 8pin ?Could it damage the graphics card if i plug in the 6 into the second 8?
Or will it be ok to run on just one 8pin connector?

I don't want to play or overclock now, just test the card.

I know i will probably have to upgrade the power supply or look for a second cable, because it has 3 connectors for graphic card cables i can't find the others, it's a bequiet dark power pro 750W

No, if it's 2x 6+2s from the same supply you're fine. The extension 6 pins will just be a pain to tuck away. But that's the route you wanna go if you elect to stay with your current supply.

You shouldn't use any adapters, and you shouldn't try using fewer pins than the card requires. You should buy a power supply with 2x(6+2) pins. Even with an adapter, you're risking damaging the card. It's definitely worth it to get a better power supply.

The power supply has 3 slots for graphic card cables, i have just one of those cables, on its end are 6+2 and 6pin connectors.
Theoretically i could have 3 6+2 and 6 pin cables connected to the power supply (Bequiet original cables of course)

The thing is, if i get another orginal cable and plug both 6+2 connectors into the 8pins on the graphics, and leave both 6pin connectors unused, can it cause a problem?

It will be two different cables coming straight from the power supply original slots.

Great, so now just one more question.

Can i try and test it on just one 6+2 connector, just to see if it is working?

I will probably upgrade the power supply soon to a 850W.
