So i got rekt by my pc guy and for 70$ i got an Amd A8-3820 with integrated graphic card Amd Radeon 6550HD.My pc guy says it has 1GB of Video Ram but when i check my screen resolution and advanced settings and adapter it says my dedicated video memory is only 512mb.How in heaven can i use the imaginary 1gb my boy says about??I need 8gb of ram to use 1gb of video card?i curently have 4gb of ram.

You don't have ANY real video ram, your video ram is shared with the system RAM, and that is configured by the BIOS. Boot into the BIOS options and see what you have available for video settings?
It won't really help much with video speed though if that is what you are after.
Having 8 GB of dual-channel memory of the fastest speed your computer can support will help with video speed though, those AMD APU chips can run faster on faster memory, up to the limit of the platform of-course.

The amount of RAM assigned to the iGPU (Integrated Graphics Processing Unit) is configured in the UEFI (BIOS). Should be fairly easy to find and change.
You should keep in mind that VRAM doesn't determine a GPU's performance. The A8-3820 is a fairly low-performance APU, and while it will run games like LoL and CS:GO without issue, I wouldn't expect it to run Crysis 3.

What we're saying is that VRAM isn't what matters with a GPU.
And he doesn't need to tell you, this is a very easy thing to change yourself.

Games almost always have more requirements than just having a "1 gb video card". It's like looking for a car, but instead of asking what engine, tires and suspension it has all you ask is how many seats does it have, like that will tell you about how good of a car it is.
Figure out what game you want to play, look at the hardware it needs to run online. Easy to find the info.

In the BIOS:
Chipset -> North Bridge -> IGD Memory
This option should allow you to select how much memory is assigned to the iGPU.

Curently i have the 1gb of video card ,ill let you know how the games are running .
Edit:the game lags worse than before 1 gb of video card ram and when i check out performance tab on task manager it shows i only have 1.74 gb of ram usable so i guess i need more ram to use all of my video card power
