IMPORTANT UPDATE: I installed the new drivers and after restarting the PC myself I tried to run GTA 5 to test the temps and as soon as GTA launched my computer died, it suddenly turned off and now won't boot. Now my suspicion about the PSU is more than ever. What should I do?

UPDATE 2: I just removed the Kingston 4 GB stick and reseated the PSU cables and the computer booted up again. Seems to be faulty memory but I'll do some more tests and update further.

FINAL UPDATE: So many updates in so little time... anyway, I tested GTA for temps and my temps were fine, the CPU never exceeded 62C and the GPU at it's normal max of 79C. This was without the new 4 GB stick. I reinstalled the stick and the computer booted up again. The problem was that the main PSU cable for the mobo had gotten a little loose and lost connection. The computer seems stable now.

So, it's been 2 years since I built my computer (specs in signature) and it has served me well through hours of gaming since. However, today it started randomly restarting. The restarts seem to be completely random as it happens while gaming or just browsing. It only happened 2 times today, first while playing Saints Row 4 (which I thought was caused by the game and not my system), but then it just happened again when just browsing the internet with no heavy background programs running. My screen just goes black without any bluescreens or visual glitches and the computer restarts. The restarts seem to happen after approximately 1.5 hours of use. Now I did some research and it seems to be either a PSU or GPU problem for most people.

My PSU is a SeaSonic 620W and I am sure that it is a good quality unit. It hasn't failed me once during these two years, and it is sufficient enough for my system. All the cables are firmly installed/seated, and I haven't touched any of them (except HDD power cables) since I built my rig in 2014. I'll be surprised if it is a PSU problem.

My GPU is an EVGA GTX 770 2 GB SuperClocked running the Nvidia 368.81 certified drivers. I installed these drivers a couple of weeks ago and they have not caused any problems since. However, I am going to install the new 372.70 drivers right after I post this question, just in case the old drivers are the problem. Now, if the GPU itself is causing the problem, that isn't as big as of a deal as the PSU for me as I was thinking about upgrading soon anyway, but it is still irritating as EVGA is a good brand.

As for my general system temps, I haven't gotten the opportunity to check while gaming yet, but idle they are what they have always been (~35-40C) for both the GPU and CPU. I'll check game temps soon.

Also, it should be worth mentioning that I bought a used 4 GB ram stick a couple of weeks ago and it has not caused any problems. It is a Kingston 4 GB DDR3 1333 MHz stick and it should be compatible with my 2x4 GB 1333 G.Skill sticks. My motherboard doesn't beep for any memory errors.

What could be causing this?

Thanks in advance.

Alright, so for those wondering, I fixed my problem, it turns out the PSU to mobo 24 pin connector had gotten loose. I reseated it and the computer is running fine, no problems whatsoever. I'll still check for random restarts and run Memtest86+ just in case though.

For those having similar random restart or no boot problems like me, make sure your PSU cables are properly connected. It might save you from buying a new one.
