Hello friends!

i need help i bought gtx 1060 canadian 6 gb zotac mini its running everything in 900p 60fps but some games are experiencing severe bottlenecks !

I currently have core i3 2120 with 8 gb ram with asus mobo!

but i want to go higher to 1080p and with new monitor and ssd and new cpu!

please suggest me cheapest display port 1.4 monitor for gaming!
Will a kingston 120 gb ssd will be enough for do we need 240 gb?
Note : i am only planning to keep operating system and csgo and dota on ssd!

also i need help in deciding what processor , mobo and ram to choose!

Should i buy core i3 6100 with h110 mobo and 16 gb ram 2133 mhz with a new hd monitor?
Or Should i buy 4th gen 4460, 4570, 4670 any of them with a compatible mobo and ram in used and get a used lcd?
Or should i buy a core i5 6600 or 6600k with h110 or z110 mobo with 2133 or 2400 or 3000 mhz ram ?
Or Should i wait for zen and kabylake for 3-4 months to come at my country?

please i am really confused and would appreciate any help thx a lot!

whats the budget for this?

sounds like you want to upgrade now not later... haha, budget wise.. you should try fit in with i5-6500, 2133 ram, H-board or variant. 6600 over the 6500 is not that big of a difference, could put money towards something else.

storage wise, I think that you know how much space you need and what you can deal with. again, if your budget allows it and you want more space.. it's up to you.

and the kabylake thought, again, it's on you to wait. do you want to? how big of a difference will you get by waiting? I would just go for skylake on the budgetary build

thx for replying man !

i have 500 $ budget

well yeah i want to upgrade now xD because i bought gtx 1060 and pc is bottlenecking it!
how long will specs for kabylake and amd zen will be out to compare it with other cpus?

Is i3 6100 good for gaming? or do i need older i5 like 4th gen ? which will be better ? in my country 6600 and 6600k processor are only availble for i5 in new rest are in used form!

im not sure how long for specs on kabylake, but some reviews were saying that's it not really NECESSARY to wait for the release. besides, I don't think the release date is firm yet.

the i3-6100 with your 1060 would work, you'll see a difference. Although it's not "ideal" for games, something like an i5 would be much better it's still decent. The advantage of taking the 6600 would be architecture and a bit higher speed, but at 6600 you're paying a price mark up. I'm not sure which country you're from (for prices) but eitherway even a 6600 +motherboard+ ram will fit in 500$ budget. the 4xxx cpus will be a cheaper build by a bit, but now you're buying older gen, saving a few bucks but in long run you'll benefit more from the newer gen.

conclusion: i3-6100 will game nicely with your 1060. But youll get a better experience with an i5. unfortunately you'll have to get cpu+motherboard and possibly ram depending on which one you wish to choose. if choosing i5 over the i3, i would go with the 6600, 6500 would be a more of an ideal choice but you don't have it you said.

well i can go for 6600 non k version with h110 mobo and 16 gb ram 2133 mhz ddr4 with either kingston 120 ssd or corsair 240 ssd !

now last thing is remaining the lcd in my country 170 $ rl2240he benQ New is for gaming and supports hdmi
should i buy that or should i go for used HP EliteDisplay E221 or Dell Professional P2212H with 1080p just for 65$ ?

For monitor I'm not too good with that. But I would say try get the 240ssd, cuz the GBS go wifi when you install some games. Another note, fire the 6600 the only reason to get a K is to squeeze out some extra frames in a few years but that still also involve more expensive mobo. In few years could get just another mid/cheap upgrade and it'll work well. I was also thinking, you could technically go to a used computer store and pick up an i5/7 to fit your socket for under 100$, I'm just throwing out there as an option if you want to wait for many. But the 6600 will serve well
