Hi, so I'm wondering what would be a safe overclock for my GTX 1060 3gb while seeing some kind of improvement. I'm using a CX 600m, not the best psu, but not the worst.

Specs:
-i5 4590
-H81-m
-Asus Dual OC GTX 1060 3gb
-1TB HD
-8GB RAM
-CX600m

Solution
Not sure about the 1060 but I got an extra 125mhz on the core and 700mhz on the ram on my 1070, test with furmark for 2-5 mins until temp maxes out to make sure it's stable, if I push it to 144 core it crashes freezing the computer, if I push the ram past 760 it causes the screen to become randomly colored and pixellated, that is your warning that you've reached your limit so restart and back it down a few mhz and try running furmark again for a couple mins to test for stability.

hi I've been overclocking my EVGA GTX 1060 3gb card. I've been running smooth at 2050MHz boost clock(+139MHz) and 4050MHz mem clock(+39MHz) fan speed 85% using EVGA Precision OCX overclocking software. I'm not sure what your card is standard mine is 1.5ghz non boost 1.8ghz boost clock. it runs at 1911Mhz without me touching it. My system is i5-2450m dell Inspiron \ eGPU setup EVGA GTX 1060 3gb Via mPCIe slot\ HP 450w power unit
