Windows isnt detecting my hard drive on installation

My harddrive isn't showing up for me to clear the partition when i inserted a windows 7 boot media and I am not sure what I should do. please help.

Hey there, @stoopiedas!

I'd follow @naturesninja's advice and try out different SATA ports and SATA cables to see if that will help your Windows installation media to detect the HDD properly. Are you able to see the HDD in the BIOS, though? Make sure that the SATA configuration is set to enhanced and the SATA mode is configured in AHCI. Another thing you could try is re-formatting the HDD through the CMD (Command Prompt -> DiskPart) in the Repair Options on the Windows Installation. Hopefully, that will make the hard drive appear properly in the Windows Install Wizard.
