Hello everyone, Just recently I have run into some trouble with hardware recognition. I am unable to see my SSD listed in Disk Management or even in my BIOS. So I attempted to update my BIOS and am unable to do so because I cannot find a source to receive an update from. The only information I was able to gather is that my my motherboard manufacturer is "Quanta" (nothing under product when running "wmic baseboard get product,Manufacturer,version,serialnumber". Please let me know how I would be able to locate a BIOS update for this obscure hardware, or if there are any other options that I have as to recognizing my SSD. Currently I am running on my HDD which is the only drive that shows in BIOS and device manager. Please Let me know what information I can provide in order to get help with this issue!

If the problem has occurred just recently then a BIOS upgrade is unlikely to help. Can the SSD be detected if you use the SATA cable and connection from the HDD?

No, attach the SSD to the motherboard using the SATA cable and port that the HDD uses and see if the BIOS detects it. This way, you can establish if the SSD is faulty.
