The i7-6700k is going to be perfect for some time. The i7-6800k would also be a better(not needed) choice if you plan on streaming/recording while gaming, doing any video editing, or other multithreaded workloads. At the moment they perform fairly close to each other in gaming, and that likely won't change for a while. The i5-6600k is also an excellent choice for gaming if you're trying to stay on a budget, but may not perform as well in the future as the i7.
