Hi everyone!
My problem: I recently bought a Galax GTX 1060 EXOC and it arrived today. As soon as i got it i opened it up and put it straight into my pc (replacing my old Gigabyte GTX 960). I turned my computer back on and everything was going perfectly, bios screen loaded but then after that nothing happened, the screen went black and a "no signal" messaged popped up on my monitor. With my 960 it works perfectly, everything loads fine. When using the onboard graphics i also get the same "error". I was really confused as this has never happened before and because of the bios screen being able to load i only assumed that the rest would be fine. I have searched through many articles regarding this and have tried:
Removing the CMOS battery for a period of time.
Enabling and disabling the integrated graphics.
Testing different monitors.
Using bare minimum, 1 stick of RAM etc.
To me, the weirdest thing is that the old 960 works but the new 1060 doesnt, was it shipped faulty? :/ Also, the bios screen lasts for a very long time, 50ish seconds usually.
If anyone could help me out it would be greatly appreciated
Thanks!
