Good morning fellas.
I am about to buy an Intel cpu to match with my new Gtx 1060 when it arrives. I have two cpus in mind, both are used and be sold 150 euros.
So, i7 3770s or I5 4670??
Mostly for games like Battlefield 1.
Thanks!

Well, not cheap - decent. I'd not buy used MB, but no problem with used CPU.
It depends on your budget, if you can comfortably afford Z170 MB + i5-6600K - may be, depending on your monitor and graphics card.
the thing is that i5 is not powerful enough in certain combinations. For example GTX 1070 on 1080p@144Hz monitor would be ~30% not utilized with i5 in some games.
But if you are limited in budget, i'd putt those 100+ euros into GPU.
i7-3770s (it is boosting to 3.9GHz) + GTX 1060 will give you awesome experience on 1080p
if you have higher res like 1440p - GTX 1070 would be the GPU choice.
Single core performance between the two is pretty similar, if they're the same price I'd opt for the i7. You get the benefit of hyper threading for no additional cost and it scores so close to the single threaded performance of the newer i5 there shouldn't be a noticeable penalty in single threaded games.

Edit: If skylake is close to being within your budget and would only mean a short wait, that would likely be the best option. The previous suggestion was just based on the two mentioned.

Yes, that would be more forward thinking. An i5 6500.
That being said, you will not have trouble with either of those CPUs in B1.

I dont want to spend 100 euros more for a i5 6600k. I could afford only a i5 6500. So, you think there is gonna be a big diferrence with the skylake i5 6500 and i7 3770s?

So you reccommend buy the I7 3770s? Even if it is the S edition and it is used? And buy a cheap 1155 mobo and 8 gb of ram? There is no reason to give 100+ for a i5 skylake right???
