Reducing room temperature

Hi, I use a gaming PC in a small room and it gets pretty hot after a while.
I game at medium settings but my GTX770 is still getting fairly hot.

Question....if I get a more powerful card and run at the same settings, will the card run cooler?

Note, the question is not about dissipating heat but avoiding producing it in the first place.

Theoretically yes, i would compare it to a scrawny bloke trying to bench 100KG and it using alot of his overall resources, whereas a body builder would do it like nothing and only use a bit of his resources. The difference however will probably not be that great for the money you'd have to spend just to avoid heat. instead investing in something that wil actually cool the room such as AC or just some simple fans which will be much more viable and cost-effective. or just get some better fans in your case such as Noctua fans.

Thanks, i'll maybe look @ AC units but they can be noisier than the PC!

Better case fans is irrelevant as it just dissipates the PC heat into the room quicker.
I want to stop generating the heat in the first place.

What I probably need to do is to duct the PC heat out through the wall like a tumble drier!! Hang let me get my hammer & chisel!!

This usually isn't what people are after so it's quite odd. This being said however, I like your thinking with this and IMO it would be a good idea. Perhaps if you set up the air flow in the case, to exhaust it out of the back and have an air tight duct running from the back to outisde/a fan to blow it elswhere such as a window it wold actually be viable. This would have to be a sort of "ghetto" DIY project (Which makes it all the more better to me) as it isn't something you can purchase; that im aware of that is. inside the "duct" you could use fans which would be secured air tightly to help transfer the hot air faster.

EDIT: after looking around i found that you can get some pretty cheap PVC/Alumnium ducts and they are generally 100mm x Ym so a slightly modified 100mm fan would fit in this. The ducts are also flexible so would be easy to manouver into a position best suited to your room.

Thanks,
I'm going to explore this option.
