Issue with LG Monitor not leaving Dsub mode. I left my computer on over-night, not uncommon for me as I sometimes end up falling asleep watching a show. Today I woke to hear the fan on my computer, and it was a bit louder than usual so I decided to see if something was running that I didn't authorise, only, I couldn't access the screen due to my monitor. It will not leave the power saving mode, and I understand that it sometimes happens when there is no signal being received. I tried draining both of power and cleaning up the inside of my PC a bit, but to seemingly no avail. Its happened before and ive been able to remedy it, I just don't remember the process. If anyone could share some insight that would be great.

I don't have any other monitors that I can use. It's evidently my PC, as it failed to recognise my USB connection as well a couple times. Unsure what to look for under the hood that may cause these issues that seemed to have happened overnight while it was on.

Update: I was able to access the computer by plugging the monitor into the motherboard instead. I went in and saw that the graphics card wasn't being recognised. I played around and updated the integrated driver and everything seems to be well. I want to run games and videos though, so I attempt to reboot to check my bios to see if it's changed the settings.

When I shut off the rig though, the motherboard does not pick up the monitor or vice versa, and the computer makes significantly less noise. Any insight?

Unfortunately I have no one to help me currently. I too think it's the motherboard, but I'm very to new to this and have only learned things through trial and error and troubleshooting. The rig is running right now, the only problem is that it's using the integrated graphics and won't detect my AMD Radeon card, as well as when it starts up it sometimes does not register, well, much of anything at all and the computer doesn't make much sound.
