So I got home from work, and starting playing dark souls on my PC. I'd just gotten a new grtaphics card and was trying it out. Anyway it suddenly freezes and the sound goes into a loop. So I turn the PC off.
When I start it again everythign lights up and the fans spin, but, there's no beep. All the other drives sound like they're spinning up fine. I've already tried removing the ram, when I did I got 4 beeps repeating, so it seems like the ram isn't the problem. I've tried shifting the position of the RAM too.
The specs are
Powersupply Corsair 550W
Graphics Card: Geforce GTX 960
Motherboard: M4A77
The processor:amd phenom ii 965 quad core 3.4 ghz (black edition)
8Gb RAM
The operating system is, unfortunately, windows 10
The computer is second hand, but, the power supply is fairly reccent and the graphics card is less than a week old.
I was planning on getting a new motherboard and processor soon, so if either of them are the problem that's not too bad, but is that likely?
