Hello... The computer MB is NOT New Q3 of 08... the Video and Chipset Chip is on the MB under that square silver Heatsink in the middle of your board, it's non replaceable or repairable...
12) Try all the steps above for cable/pins/monitor problems to the MB...
13) borrow a Pcie video card and see if the MB will communicate and send a video signal to your monitor... if not? return the MB as defective?
Hello... This is in a MB manual/PDF "CMOS clear/reset"...You MB bio's reads hardware/memory/communication information, and stores it in your CMOS memory... memory sticks comes in many types of timing and speeds... Any time you change/build hardware on a MB, the BIO's needs to read the new memory sticks, and set the proper communications setting into the CMOS for Booting.

BUT.... I see a different problem all together for you here... B O

Typically your MAX RAM for a S775 chipset will be 2 GB sticks per slot... I feel your RAM size choice here will not work at ALL with this MB OLDER chipset B /

Hello... GJ B )... OK...
1) what are you using as cable to your monitor? HDMI, DVI-I, DVI-D, VGA?
2) what are your Monitor input options HDMI, DVI-I, DVI-D, VGA?
3) What are you using for VIDEO output the MB or Video card?
4) press the buttons on your Monitor (setup screen) and set the monitor INPUT for the cable type being used.

Im using a vga port...to vga port....I don't think that is the problem because I'm using the same wire for a diff computer with same monitor....I'm not using any video card... I'm plugging it directly to the motherboard

Hello... There should be a intel GMA X4500 on your G41 MB for a VGA output...
5) Can you clean your cable connectors pins with rubbing alcohol?
6) Try re-connecting it a few times to the MB... this will clean them too and wake them up b ).
7) check the pins/sockets on the MB, cable and make sure they are all there and not bent.
8) Also try a couple re-boots.

I had given this computer to a service centre for installation of these parts.....all the parts are cleaned using alcohol.....this computer looks brand new....then wat could be the problem?

Hello... 9) the MB VGA defective?
10) Some connection/pin/wires to the monitor are open...
11) monitor is not set for the VGA input... no rocket science here.

Give them a call... or take it back and see if they can get a display for you... install a older PCIe 2.0 Video card and give that a try.
