So i thought it would be the greatest idea in the world to get a new graphics card because i wanted to play the newer games smoothly. So i ordered the Zotac GeForce GTX 1060 and it came in the mail yesterday, i read an article on how to install a new graphics card and it said that i needed to uninstall my graphics driver, and so i did. then i turned off my pc via the button on it and took out the 560 and put in the 1060 and when i boot up my computer nothing happens to my monitor, it stays completely black but thee gpu fans spin up and my Thermaltake smart m750w can provide enough power. So i have do idea what's wrong, this morning we sent it back to amazon because one of the fans had broken when we got it so we considered it faulty. Now i tried to put my old 560 card back in there and still nothing happens so i used the Intel graphics so i could see what im doing and i tried to reinstall the driver for it to say that it can't detect my gpu, i don't have a friend to try my card on another computer, The device manager just shows my Intel graphics under display adapters, and i have no idea what more i could do. I've checked every forum post i could find and nothing works.

System Spec:
Gigabyte GA-Z77X-D3H Motherboard
Gigabyte Geforce GTX 560 Graphics Card
Thermaltake Smart M750W PSU
Intel I5 3570k 3.4 Ghz CPU

Are you sure the fan is faulty? Most modern day gpus have fans that don't spin until it reaches a certain temperature.

Did you connect the power connectors to the gpu? If you didn't, it's possible you blew up your PCI slot.
