i recently built my computer and it works perfectly, except that i can't use 5GHZ networks. When I try to connect, it says cant connect to this network. I have set up the profile yet it doesn't work. I can use 2.4ghz, though. i am using the trendnet tew 805ub ac1200 wireless adaptor. And also, i have set it to 802.11 ac and b/g/n, and the same problem continues
edit: I am using a netgear ac1900 r7000 router
edit#2: i just tried to connect to a 5ghz network, and it connected for about a second, then windows said that my usb device is malfunctioning and the wifi turned off
