I'm looking between a couple of Z170 motherboards for my pc build. I'm stuck between a pair of ASrock boards, and one board from most of the other major motherboard manufacturers.

ASRock Z170 Extreme4 or ASRock Z170 Extreme6
Asus Z170-A
Gigabyte Z170x Gaming 6
MSI Z170 Gaming Pro Carbon

I can't find much about it, but from what I've seen the Gigabyte board only has one PWM header, even though many of them are 4 pin. I'm looking for good overclocking capability and stability. This is why I'm stuck between the two ASRock boards, because several review sites say the Extreme4's overclocking is subpar. Intel LAN is always preferable as well, but not necessary. Suggestions are welcome. Thanks for any help!

Nothing wrong with the Rock mobo, many still think of them as back when they bega as a lower tier maker for Asus, but they broke away years ago and immediately started climbing the ladder, they passed MSI for the #3 position in sale back around 2010 and have steadily pulled away from them. They have many of what are considered the top mobos on the X99 line, quality is very, very good.

Are there any common issues that plauge ASRock boards? I'm looking at it because it should provide very stable overclocking (and personally, I think it looks the best out of all of them), but if there are major issues with ASRock I'll look elsewhere. Though I recently helped a friend assemble a skylake build using an ASRock Z170 Pro4, and it felt very sturdy, had plenty of features, and the Bios was easy to use.
