In order to repair a raid array, it depends on what raid mode you have selected.

And the type of array.

A striped array is harder to repair because the data on it is split into two parts where half he data is stored one of the drives and then the other.

A raid 0 array in striped format is the most basic array, and holds no redundancy or recovery precautions Reliable.

Therefore if any of the data on any one of the two drives selected as a raid 0 array in a striped configuration becomes damaged you have basically lost the whole array and have to start again.

With a mirrored array since the data on one drive of the array is an exact duplicate to the other drive of a raid 0 array in Mirrored it can be recovered, and will take less time to duplicate the data from one drive to the other.

If the data is important to you then you should always use a mirrored array setup.

Short of that if you used a striped array setup you have pretty much lost all of the data on the drive, array.

Disk 1 is no longer a part of the original array you setup.
And as said a raid 0 array particularly in a stripped formatting has no redundancy or data integrity when it comes to errors.

Raid 0 is mainly used for faster read and write speeds by combining the speed both drive operate at.

And should not be used if the integrity of the data is very important.

Sorry for the bad news I had to give you, but if anything if the data is really important to you it`s a lesson you will never forget if you are new to setting raid array configurations Pc-reliable.

do the data is lost for ever
how stupid i am means first thing i done is, i just copied all my project raw files to this disc. that is too hard to know, data is unrecoverable. can i know what is the problem is showing in the pic i am taken/provided, please let me know y only 1disk is showing as member disk 0

i read somewhere in threads doing again raid 0 config/windows system repair file restore given the files back.

help me please

i know the raids and its important and its weakpoints but who know that it occurs to me in super lighting fast the failure :(

If it was any other type of array you setup, other than a raid 0 array in a striped formatting you would of had a chance of recovering the data and the whole array.

Like I said sorry for the bad news.

Like you I learned the hard way by doing the exact same thing Pc-reliable.
So I have all the sympathy in the world for you.

As I said, it be a lesson not forgotten in the future.
