Hey guys, I'm upgrading my PC and have a few questions.

So I'm wanting a GTX1070 GPU
Although I'm wondering if my current Mobo will restrict performance. Current mobo is a ASUS B85M-E.

Also, my current CPU is an i5 – 4690 (3.5GHz). I'm assuming this is going to be the main limiting factor?

A thought was to buy a mobo allowing overclocking of locked cpu's and liquid cooling the cpu (I currently have liquid cooling aval)

Any thoughts on this guys would be super helpful as i'm wanting to spend some doshy soon c:

- Thanks

Wouldn't really recommend overclocking a locked CPU, since it isn't designed for that purpose.

But as long as your Mobo has a PCI-E x16 Port, you should be fine. (Which is does, it has a PCI-E 3.0 and 2.0 Port) so that will not limit it.

About the bottlenecking with your CPU/GPU, there will most likely be little (Really little) to no bottlenecking at all, as the 4690 is still quite a modern CPU, and is definitely still, one of the best CPUs out there to get for gaming (On a locked CPU anyway).
