Can this computer run newer games well?

I've been looking at this computer: https://www.amazon.com/CYBERPOWERPC-Xtreme-GXi760-Gaming-Desktop/dp/B011D78WVM/ref=sr_1_2?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1473324329&sr=1-2&keywords=gaming+pc&refinements=p_36%3A80000-90000 and before I do anything dumb, I'd like to know how it can run games such as Battlefield 1 on High @ around 60 FPS. If it can't, what computer could, around the same price range? Thanks!

That's a very unbalanced PC.

If you can build your own, then you'll be far better off doing so.

Here is my current build. How would you recommend modifying it to run newer games @around 60 FPS?

It all depends on your budget. If money is tight then you could get away with an FX-8350 and an extra 8GB of RAM. If your budget was larger, then a Skylake build with a GTX 1060 or RX 480 would be ideal.

You currently have a GTX780. The PC that you listed from Amazon will not be able to match what you currently have.

In your current build your CPU might be bottlenecking your GPU. If you wanted to upgrade, I would suggest getting a Skylake i5 and MB. The GTX780 should be able to provide solid framerates at 1080p.

your motherboard is a very old AM3+ soket which isn´t compatible with Intel socket 1151

you will need a new one with socket 1151

the gtx780 will be ok for it, you wouldn´t really need to replace this one

You only need to replace the CPU and Motherboard. Your RAM and GPU will be able to work on a Skylake system.

The difference between a GTX780 and a GTX1060 is not that big. Keep the GTX780 until you can upgrade to a GTX1070 or the newer GTX11xx series.

if upgrading, DDR4 should be the choice. There are DDR3 motherboards out there, but better get the new RAM and new DDR4 motherboard now and not later

You are right. Plus DDR4 is not expensive.

@BreadSawks, replace the RAM at the same time. Getting a compatible MB for DDR3 might not be worth it. Your DDR3 RAM also needs to be 1.35v for it to work on Skylake (which I should have mentioned earlier, my bad).

You've paired an unlocked CPU with a motherboard that can't overclock. You either need a Z170 motherboard or a locked CPU, such as an i5-6500.

the 6600k is just 30$ more expensive than the 6500. But would run on a "locked" motherboard as well. Just nice to have, performance gain without overclocking would be marginal.

6500 would be the rational thing to buy.
