Hi guys,
I'm planning to upgrade my RAM to 16 GB, but I've got a few questions.

My current system:
CPU: Intel Core i7 4770k@4.3 GHZ
GPU: Palit GTX 1080 GameRock
MoBo: Asus Z87-K
RAM: Kingston 2x4GB DDR-3 1600MHz

Firstly I don't know if I can put in a RAM with like 2133MHz or even 2400MHz.
Secondly, if I put in the 2133 MHz RAM or higher, do I have to overclock something else than the CPU?
Thirdly, could you give me a few suggestions for which 2x8GB Kit ti go for?

Thankfully,

2x8GB is a good choice, would look to 2133 prob in the Gskill Ripjaws X or maybe Snipers. Prob won't have to OC the CPU, but it is a possibility (and that would be all). Most all 4770Ks I've worked with can carry 2133 straight up
A good and cheap solution would be to but 2x4gb 1600Mhz sticks, there cheap, and you wont have to get rid of your current ram. Also the 4th gen Intel processor dont really get a very noticeable performance gain from faster ram, so your not missing out on anything.

Do not "mix and match" RAM sets; they are shipped in sets that are tested to work together. Your system can support 32GB of 1600MHz DDR3 Ram so you could get These sticks which are CL9 so should be quite fast. This won't make a huge difference however.

I have a Haswell Devil's Canyon i7 and I just stuck another lot of Corsair Vengeance 2x4GB 1600MHZ RAM in a month ago so I now have 16GB.

The higher speed RAM's don't really show that much of a speed difference unless your making the pc to exceedingly hard tasks where it has to jump stuff from the RAM and back constantly. #

I'm more grateful for the size increase as games have started to exceed 8GB, before the upgrade my system would keep some of the 8GB for the system and give the rest to the games but now the CPU can allocate the full amount of RAM to the games as I have lots spare if something needs it.
