I've checked for other threads regarding this issue, but those were slightly different. My build has been active for over a year now.
My setup:
Corsair AX 760
I7 4790k
Asus z97-a
Cryorig r1 universal (cpu cooler)
2x4gb 1866 g. Skill sniper ram
Samsung 840 evo
WD black 1 tb
Msi gtx 970
Nzxt
The problem: had this setup fully working for over a year now. Yesterday I turned off the pc as usual. From there on, it won't turn on again unless it's unplugged first and plugged again hours later.
Things I've noticed:
-mobo leds are on
-psu emits a strange buzz-like noise when turned on (did the paper clip test). I will attach the audio file below
-if i wait before plugging the pc back, when I press the pwr switch it boots 100% well.
