We'll basically... I was playing unturned (before that league of legends for 4 hours) and all of a sudden, my monitor just went blank and showed the message "No signal". I could hear the sound and everything but nothing visual, so I assumed it is the graphics card. I've tried everything, to restore my pc to the last major update, clean the card with a mini vacuum, replace the DVI cable.. nothing. I've tried to update my drivers, each time I launch the nvidia updater it says "Couldn't detect a compatible GPU". My graphics card doesn't seem to show in the device and manager window in control panel. Please help meh... Oh and this has happened before, same way except in a LoL match, but the next day it seemed to be back to normal, I didn't even do anything to try solve it back then.

Here is a list of my specs:

Intel Core i5-4570 CPU @3.20GHz
8.00 GB RAM
64-bit Windows 7 Enterprise
Nvidia GIGABYTE GTX 650 Ti

Here's a few pics of my rig:

whats the thermal paste? Sorry, if sound like an idiot x)

plaintuts

Admirable
Its toothpaste like substance, basically used to ensure proper contact between the heatsink and whatever its trying to cool down

It dries up and harden overtime causing the heatsink to malfunction

If you're already planning to buy a new gpu, might aswell learn how to do it

Ok... I found a tube of thermal paste in my garage, so I removed the GPU > its fan and metal plate thingy, carefully and applied the paste on it and reassembled everything back together... nothing still seems to be working. Oh, forgot to mention, the fan of the card is still working, nothing else though.
