Video card installation problems

That's relevant to his issue how?

Does the graphics card go all the way in the slot? Does the lock on the pci-e slot engage properly? If so it could just be a misalignment on the graphics card I/O plate.

Whats the rest of the build?
It physically won't fit?
That looks to be an OEM machine, which aren't know for their incredible expandableness because of what Blackbird was hinting at, their usually low quality PSUs
EDIT: Oops, read the thread too fast

They sell upgrades, but now we're wating on what VGA power cables he has, but the upgrade is 320W, which isn't much either...

The old card it is replacing it ss a NVIDIA Geforce GTX 760 TI OEM which says it requires a 500w PSU and it ran perfect. The video card will plug into the slot inside the computer a little it just will not go all the way down. I am not sure of anything else I am not real computer smart (I just know how to change the video card) I do have an adapter for the pins though to convert it from 6 to 8

My computer has two video power connectors: two 6-pin, the video card has 1 8pin power connector. I am using a 6x6 to 8 adapter ( not sure if this is what you mean if not I can take a pic of inside of the computer)

My computer has two 6 pin connectors the video card only has 1 8 pin connector which I have an adapter for so it hooks up and I have a spare 6 pin

So we do have a chance the card will run.
Before plugging it in, I assume you uninstalled the old drivers? (Not that it would physically prevent the card from entering the slot, but important none the less)
When installing, did you forget to unlock the latch on the PCIe x16 slot?

I am not sure what that is, how do I do that? Are you refering to the little latch that holds the video card on the video holder holder? if so then no i'm not forgetting that

If anything I believe the edge of the tower case was blocking it a little bit but i'm not sure its such a small space and a large cvideo card I cannot really see much

This guy, was able to do it, so we need to figure out whats up with your thing...
Anyway, you'll need the upgraded PSU.
Maybe try starting to put the card in the slot at different angles? Running out of ideas, unless you want to dismantle the whole thins (sure you don't) and be absolutely sure the PCIe x16 slot on the motherboard isn't messed up.

I contacted newegg and they told me I should be able to receive a refund so I am going to try to send it back and get a blower style video card that will fit better. Thanks for the help
