What program should I use for controlling the speeds of my fans

I bought some new fans and mounted them to the case, plugged them into my motherboard and started the computer. I tried SpeedFan but it is not working. My question is what software for fan controlling should i use?

because you're using the wrong program...
using a GA Z170X Gaming 7 myself
fan spped it controlled via the SIV (System Information Viewer) no the easyOC
it's actually a pretty good software

No because my motherboard is gigabyte z170x gaming 5 and the gigabyte extreme tuning utility just let's me to overclock my processor and do benchmarks
