Hi all,
First of all, let me say that I am completely new at this so please be nice
The bottom line of my issue is that I built myself a new "gaming" pc, which I am very proud of, everything runs great, but I get 40 fps on CSGO (medium settings), which is very disappointing...Metro LL is unplayable at 6 fps on the lowest possible settings (using fraps to monitor in game fps).
Here are my specs:
-Processor: 4 GHz AMD Athlon X2
-RAM: 32 GB DIMM DDR
-Memory speed: 1600 MHz
-HDD: 1 TB HDD 7200 rpm
- GPU: Sapphire Radeon NITRO R9 380X 4GB-(8GBx4) DDR3 1600 MT/s UDIMM
-OS: Windows 10 Home 64 Bit
- Power supply: 600W Corsair
(do I need to list anything else?)
To answer the common questions I have been asked before:
-Yes, I did update the GPU with the latest drivers ( they show as up to date on both windows and AMD software)
- I use the HDMI output of the GPU and not the motherboard output.
-I did benchmark with Valley and it shows a stable 60fps, if that means anything.
-I did try some overclock with Afterburner, with no impact at all, so I reverted to stock configuration.
What I suspect is happening (again, total noob):
-Some sort of bottleneck
-I use a TV display, could this be an issue?
I would really appreciate some help, so please try to figure it out, 50 fps on CSGO medium setting actually makes me angry
Thank you very much for trying !
