Can you use SLI for 2x GTX 970's Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3

Solution
1. you can use the 2x970 on this MB
2. nvidia does not support different GPUs for SLI - so 560ti+970 is bad idea.
3. you'd be better with single 1070 :)

on your point number 2. You can use a gtx560ti and a gtx 970 on the same board, but it's not an SLI setup as such. You use the 560 as the physx card, and the 970 as the primary GPU

Physx has some nice effects, and draws little power off the slave card (gtx560ti) Depending on what games you pay it can make a nice difference.
