So me and my friend built my gaming PC about a month ago. It has worked like a charm until recently. At first it didn't start at all, but now it does. Although the fans, the keyboard, the mouse and the screen shuts down, while the PC itself is running. We suspect that it's something with the PSU, but we don't know for sure since the PSU should be more than enough to run the machine smoothly. It shuts down randomly while just browsing the web, but as soon as I start any game the problems come back. I have tried my keyboard and monitor on other PCs and it works perfectly. My PC specs: Graphics card:EVGA GeForce GTX 1070 8GB ACX 3.0 SC Cpu:Intel core i7 6700k 4GHz PSU:Cooler Master GM 750W CPU cooler: Noctua NH-DH14 RAM:Corsair 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 3000Mhz CL15 Vengeance LPX Black SSD:Samsung 750-Series EVO 250GB HDD/Hard disk:Seagate Desktop 2TB 7200rpm 64MB/s OS: Windows 10 64bit OEM.

Solution
You are right the problem maybe from the PSU, but maybe somethings else.
Try;
1) update the chipset driver https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/20775, then go into the BIOS hardware monitor section to check the +3.3V, +5V, and +12V voltages. The PSU voltage tolerances like: http://pcsupport.about.com/od/insidethepc/a/power-supply-voltage-tolerance.htm
2) If you oc the gtx1070, may underclock it with the evga software. Also check the temp too.
3) May use the onboard intel iGPU for browsing the web to see you will have the same problem or not.
4) Make sure the cpu temp is good. You can monitor by the software HWiNFO64 https://www.hwinfo.com/download.php But I think the temp should not be the problem, you have the very good cpu...

Random shut downs might be caused due to overheating though. Keep checking your PC temperatures.

You could try with a spare PSU, just to see if it fixes your problem. If problem exsists even with the 2nd PSU then the problem isn't with your current PSU.

5) Also may use the intel XMP in the BIOS. and don't hurt to test the RAM one by one with MemTest86 http://www.memtest86.com/download.htm

If you don't have any problem with the iGPU, and either PSU or gtx1070 may have problem, because the PSU is in the tier 3, the 750 wattage does not tell you all about the PSU. http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/id-2547993/psu-tier-list.html May get the better PSU that is in at least tier 2 or up. And may test the gtx1070 in other pc too.

Thanks for the answer! This is my first PC ever so I don't have a spare PSU.
