I have a DVD +R disk that a friend gave me to copy. I have windows 7 64bit and a TSST corp CD/DVDW SH-183L Samsung drive. I can play any other type of DVD or DVD write disc without an issue. However, it will not read this DVD +R. Not even in the windows explorer can I even navigate to the drive - its totally inrecognizable. However, I can take it and play it on my home DVD player which is not really new by any standards. The only thing I can say is when I do play it on my home DVD the person who made the video on it must have used some sort of Apple type software as there is an Apple icon/watermark when you play and watch the video in one of the lower corners. Just seems really odd that I can play it on a outdated DVD player and any other DVD I play on that DVD will work on my PC but not this particular disk...... Looking for some help to troubleshoot this issue.

I don't know if your friend has overburnt the disk, or weather that reader can read overburnt disks.

I would put it down to it just being one of those things and just accept the fact it doesn't work. :(

DVD+R are supported by the model of drive you have.

So.. eh.
Nothing that you can do really.
Does the disk work in any other computers?
