Green vertical lines on screen

This problem just appeared today, no prior history of issues. (My card is a Sapphire R9 270X)

Basically, seemingly at random, the display will start flashing gray/green in parts of it (the whole display will flash, but only parts will be gray/green), then it will change to completely gray covered by green vertical lines.

I already tried driver reinstall (used DDU in safe mode, installed latest AMD driver), and checked to make sure it was properly seated. The settings (core clock, memory clock et cetera) are all normal too. Temps never exceed 75C core temp before this happens.

This happens seemingly at random, although GPU load seems to trigger it much more easily. Going into Radeon Settings caused it (before driver reinstall), then I could run Dark Souls 3 for a few moments before it happened again.

I'm completely at a loss here, because the clock settings are fine, the temps are fine, did a clean install of the drivers, and this card hasn't showed any issues up to now. I also tested just using the iGPU, and the problem did not occur (granted, I didn't put any load on the iGPU).

Is there something wrong with the card or could I be missing something?

MSI Kombustor is good for that.

You can do tests in OpenGL or DirectX.

Never heard of directX causing issues like this though. :(

Good luck! No worries as at least your card is in warranty.
