Hi,

I have been having problems with my GPU being stuck at 50mhz core clock even while under load, and it causes serious problems when I try to run anything GPU intensive.

I have changed the "Power management mode" in Nvidia control panel to "Max performance", I've run Guru3D's DDU and reinstalled clean latest drivers (372.70), I have dusted the card, I have changed fan management utilities (only to see that it didn't help...), I am using a 750w PSU; above the required 550w demand for the card and I've disabled any/all integrated graphics I have on my PC.

The card is staying at average temps while idle (40c), and not much higher while under max load. -- I don't think it's downclocking due to heat issues; when it runs normally the temps are fine.

This problem started to happen after I installed Nvidia driver version 372.54.

It will run at normal clock speeds after I reboot occasionally, but I feel like there is no way I can accurately reproduce it, and it won't stay normal if I stress it for long enough.

I don't usually post on any forums, but I feel like I've run out of options.

My specs:
ASUS H110M-A D3
Intel Pentium G4400 R0
EVGA GTX 570 HD 2.5gb
Nanya 2x4gb low-density DS DDR3
Corsair CX750 750w PSU
WD Caviar black 1tb
Seagate Barricuda 250gb
Windows 10 Pro 64-bit

If you need any more info, please let me know.

EDIT: The issue has been resolved.

then if you just updated the driver go back to your working as expected old driver .. just because its a newer driver don't make it a better driver . I'm still using 355.xx
